Today's my dad's birthday. He would've been 58. We lost him in 1994. I miss you, Dad.

I'm Susan, a twenty-something who was raised in the South. I'm the kind of girl that prefers jeans to ballgowns and flip-flops to stilettoes. I like being outside in wide open spaces, not cooped up in an uptown apartment. I'm a daughter, a sister and an auntie. I hope one day to add wife and mother to that list.
I often think of life as the yellow brick road; never sure of what's down the road, I face my challenges like Dorothy, with help and encouragement from my friends and family.
